Geared Up Labs, a HealthStirs Inc. company, supplies research peptides and laboratory materials for legitimate laboratory, analytical and scientific research only. This page explains how we sell, who may purchase, and the controls we apply to every order.
Research Use Only (RUO) Status
Every product sold on this website is labeled and supplied as Research Use Only. Our products are sold as research chemicals only. They are not sold as drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics or food, and they have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any of those uses. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, medical diagnosis, treatment, cure or prevention of any disease, or any form of personal use.
We do not provide dosing, administration or usage guidance of any kind, and we do not make health or performance claims about any product.
Who May Purchase
Our products are intended for qualified purchasers conducting legitimate research, such as:
- Commercial and contract laboratories
- Academic and university research groups
- Biotechnology companies
- Scientific research organizations
- Other qualified entities with a legitimate research purpose
Purchasers must be at least 21 years old and legally permitted to purchase and possess research materials in their jurisdiction. We currently ship to addresses within the United States only.
Prohibited Uses
Products purchased from Geared Up Labs may not be used for, or resold for:
- Human consumption, injection or any other form of administration
- Veterinary or animal use outside of an approved research setting
- Medical, therapeutic, diagnostic or clinical purposes
- Disease prevention or cure
- Dietary, nutritional, cosmetic or personal use
- Athletic, bodybuilding or performance purposes
- Any use that violates local, state, federal or international law
Purchaser Verification
Before entering the store, every visitor completes a research purchaser verification form that collects:
- Purchaser type (commercial laboratory, academic or educational research, biotechnology company, scientific research organization, or other qualified research entity)
- Full name
- Organization or laboratory
- Business or research email
- Intended research purpose
Purchasers must also certify that they are at least 21 years of age, that they are purchasing exclusively for legitimate laboratory, analytical, or scientific research, and that they understand our products are Research Use Only and are not intended for human or veterinary administration, consumption, diagnosis, treatment, therapeutic use, or other personal use.
This information is saved with the date and time of verification and the version of the certification text, and is attached to the order record. At checkout, purchasers must accept a final research-use certification before an order can be placed.
Order Review
Geared Up Labs reserves the right to review purchaser information and intended research use before fulfilling an order. Orders may be held, cancelled, or refunded when purchaser information is incomplete, inconsistent, or does not reasonably demonstrate an eligible research purpose.
Documentation and Traceability
Products are tracked by lot (batch) number, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are published by lot so that documentation can be matched to the product received.
Testing Documentation
Available analytical documentation for each lot is published in our COA & Test Results database and can be searched by product, SKU or lot number. Each COA applies only to the specific lot it references. You can read more about our process on the How We Test page.
Advertising and Payment Standards
Our product pages, advertising and marketing describe products only as research materials. We do not publish testimonials, before-and-after content, or claims about health, weight loss, muscle growth, anti-aging or other effects in humans. Content that does not meet these standards is removed.
